Personal Relationships.

The Crew has been handling themselves well enough for what they have been dealing with, and after our ice cream social it at least has been handled well. Though I've been seeing some new faces in the crowd.

Wilhelm Osborne has the best intentions for the crew; an ONI agent tasked us to murder entire families down there - and if he did it or not, the point is he forced it on himself and no one else to do it. He could have let everyone shoulder the blame, or he could have let us all get in trouble with ONI - but instead he did it himself. Something that is quite honorable - and yet everyone spat on his face. Something that he'll have to deal with for the rest of his life I suppose. It seems like things are back to normal for him, which is a good thing. He's a good leader in the stead of Preston; he knows what he's doing and gave me some good expertise, something to strive for.
He's a good logistician... better than anything I could ask for... fuck.

Mallory King and Marc-Antoine Clarieaux(Moved) are both very open about their hatred towards Wilhelm currently; Marc-Antoine more explicitly despite Wilhelm being as honest as he can be about the situation. With this I don't see it as anything but him acting a bit reckless but what else can he do? He hears one thing yet is told to believe in another. As for King, she follows the same belief pattern and yells at another crew member because of him talking about the artwork. Unless there was something about King and Pershing I need to know about before, I suppose it's nothing... but who knows. For Mallory King, she has seemingly been able to be working for her keep around here, it's good to see someone care about the soldiers morale.
From the last time I saw her... she's changed... I don't know how, but she has.

Marc-Antoine Clarieaux is a capable marine... he... he did everything I could ask for in this fucking hospital bed.

Niles Pershing seems to be a decent supporter of the arts and a gentleman to boot, at least I'll have a good off-duty conversation with him whenever I'm not busy with anything, maybe a few board games.
He is definitely someone I can rely on. A capable marksman... even with incidents that have happened... just fuck... everything that has happened.

Lance Buellie has seemed to have misinterpreted me, which is not good at all. He seems to think I joined this purely for the heroics, four years ago - yes that's what I joined for. But after my first deployment and almost having my insides be my outsides, that's a negative. He wasn't listening about what my morals are now... I hope he listens to the things I say in combat.
He's a strong marine... after everything that's happened.

Kevin Thomas lost way too many things in the past weeks alone. He made the joke that "Everyone he gets to know dies..." I hope I can force that away. Especially with the story he told me about his brother, I don't want to force that on him.
I... I let someone else die. He wasn't in my command. But... no... god damnit no. I... I just need to get back to a bar, right? We had drinks, that's all we needed. Just a bar, we said we were going to get drunk on shore leave, right Thomas?

I'm sorry Greg Flavins. I should've kept track of you and Thomas. Fuck - if I did you would've lived... just fuck.

Jim Preston is a good leader now that he's finally here and not on an ONI operation. And the same can be said for James Banner, now that he's come back from the dead.

Personal History.

Kyung Sang was born on Mars, a vastly different planet than the original home his family was from, Harvest. Three years before his birth, Kyung's parents, Yeong-Ho and Eun Sang were two of the 250'000 people who escaped off of the outer colony Harvest and one of the first to recognize the evils enwhich that was the Covenant. When Kyung was born, he witnessed many stories of how he should never go into the military, and all of the refugee families with him - and more and more of them coming in. Some from Chi-Ro, some from Harvest, others from Eridanus II. Kyung however refused to listen to his parents, seeing stories of grandure within his future - signing up for basic training as soon as he turned eighteen because of the stories he heard from all of the refugees.

Upon his first actual mission as an UNSC Marine, Kyung as a weapons operative charged headfirst into a group of jackels, almost getting himself killed - but showed promise within his NCO's, but with a stupid move forced him to be put into the back-lines. This move forced him to sign up as an ODST - allowing him to be as reckless as that, sobering through the four years of service and changing his style of leadership to fit that of a typical leader.
